Scottish Launch for Pay Firm

A payroll and finance company has launched a dedicated Scottish operation.

I-paye helps contractors, freelancers and self-employed professionals with payroll and other financial requirements.

The Merseyside company has a turnover of £68million and has appointed Gordon Webb to head up offices in Glasgow and Aberdeen.

He said: "I-paye plans to more than double the size of the business over the next three years and our launch in Scotland forms an important part of that development.

"While umbrella service providers are much used by contractors in the UK, we will be the first dedicated umbrella service provider to have an operation in Scotland."
